Study of the Commercial Structure of Niamey’s Markets in Niger


Groupe Huit won the tender launched by the French Development Agency for the realisation of a study on the commercial structure of Niamey’s markets in Niger.

The objective of this study of the commercial structure of Niamey’s markets in Niger is to support the AFD and its local partners (City of Niamay and State) for :

  • The development of an updated diagnosis of the state of commercial infrastructure in Niamey, and
  • The formulation of a final objective and strategic orientations for a project to improving merchant facilities in Niamey.

The study was required to lead to the definition of a pre-project proposal that would allow for the development of a new partnership between the AFD and local authorities on the question of markets in Niamey.
